Living Legacy Project

Beginning in 2011, Project StoryKeeper will help to launch one of the most ambitious personal history campaigns in recent memory. This is an opportunity for each citizen to be heard, reocginized and remembered for their contributions to society.

Project StoryKeeper's initiatives to date have focused on recording and preserving the stories that are most threatened to be lost. These stories are often kept hidden in our senior citizens and veterans who are not able to express themselves using modern technology. So, we train certified StoryKeepers to conduct interviews and to do the techinical work on their behalf.

For the rest of us, the Living Legacy Project will offer an easy way to leave your legacy for the benefit of future generations. The Living Legacy Project is partnering with local libraries and museums, the Library of Congress, national and local sponsors to collect, share and preserve your stories that will become a part of our national heritage.
