Become a Storykeeper

Project StoryKeeper relies on well-trained people to collect stories and connect families. Each ‘Assignment’ follows a strict protocol in order to comply with the parameters of the Library of Congress.

Our online StoryKeeper Certification Course teaches a systematic process to qualified StoryKeeper candidates. StoryKeepers who complete the course and become certified are eligible to receive compensation for their assignments.

With so many families suffering the indignity of unemployment our certification course teaches new skills in the fine art of interviewing, gathering relevant media, working with archives and assisting families through social media to connect and share their stories.

Qualification Requirements:

Access to a PC (preferably a laptop with built-in webcam but not necessary)
Access to a printer/scanner/copier
Access to high speed internet
Familiarity with internet browsing
Familiarity with online social networking
Operate as an independent contractor

Paid assignments are based upon available funding. Anyone can volunteer at any time. If you would like to play a pivotal role in our initiatives by becoming a Certified StoryKeeper please contact us and we’ll be happy to send you information to get your training started. Please Contact Us.
