What we do

Project StoryKeeper's mission is to preserve the past, enrich the present and inspire the future for all families.

To accomplish that goal Project StoryKeeper conducts initiatives that not only advocate but also actively provide training and support to capture the stories of people in our communities who represent our diverse cultures, values, traditions and beliefs. This work helps our families and by extension our communities build strong foundations for our future generations, well rooted in their rich legacy.

Project StoryKeeper is a founding partner of the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress American Folklife Center whose purpose is to collect and preserve at the Library of Congress the firsthand remembrances of U.S. wartime veterans.
